In celebration of Women in Construction Week, HBAV's Women Building Virginia is proud to kick off our 2026 webinar series with Mollie Elkman, author of The House That She Built. This year, Women Building Virginia is on a mission to read The House That She Built is more than 100 schools across the Commonwealth, introducing young students to the many careers available in residential construction and helping them see themselves in those roles. In this special webinar, Mollie will share the inspiration behind the book, the impact storytelling can have on workforce development, and how representation at an early age can shape the future of our industry.
